Parent Teacher Association (PTA)
St Thomas Parent Teacher Association (PTA) - Helping Hands
Our friendly PTA group is a registered charity and is made up of parent and teacher volunteers who meet monthly to discuss how to raise funds for the school.
We run various events and raffles throughout the year and are currently raising funds to improve the children’s playgrounds.
Last financial year we raised an amazing £6,000 which will buy new equipment for the infant playground.
We hold monthly meetings at the school to discuss our upcoming events and new fundraising ideas. If you would like to take part in the next meeting, please email – firstname.lastname@example.org
Wanted - new members
We welcome new members to join our friendly PTA team. No experience is necessary, just a willingness to join in the meetings or help out at events, suggest fundraising ideas or offer your expertise to our committee.
We’d especially like to hear from people with experience of writing grant applications. Or people with fundraising experience and links with local businesses.
The PTA are proud members of Parentkind, the leading membership organisation for parent bodies across the UK. www.parentkind.org.uk
The St Thomas PTA are a registered Charity – 1061993.
Match Funding Sponsor
If you work for a bank, insurance company, utility provider or supermarket, your employer may be willing to match the money we raise on events. This is a brilliant way to double the amount we raise. Get in touch if you can help us with this.
