NRG Booking Arrangements

Parent Information 

NRG provides wrap around care for children from Nursery up to Year Six. This care is available for all children for Reception to Year Six.

For Nursery children, it is at the school’s discretion as to whether the care is suitable for the child.
Bookings for all wrap around care are to be made by parents through our MyEd app.

Prior booking for both breakfast and after school club is essential. This is to ensure we are able to effectively safeguard the children in our care and adhere to ratios.

If you do not book prior, your child may be refused a place and you will be contacted to collect your child from school. If you do not book prior, but we are able to offer a place at short notice, you may be charged a late booking fee.

Breakfast Club

• Runs from 7:30 – 8:50am

• Breakfast Club must be booked at least 48 hours in advance or your child may not be allocated a place

• Children are provided with a choice of hot or cold breakfast (toast, crumpets, cereal etc)

• All parents must accompany their child to the main entrance and await a member of the NRG staff to take your child through to breakfast club

After School Club

• Runs from 3:20 – 5:30pm for children from Nursery to Year Six

• School finishes at 3:00 for Nursery children – wrap around care from 3:00 – 3:25pm can be booked to extend this care (please collect nursery children before older siblings if accessing this wraparound care)

• Children in NRG will be provided with a hot meal prepared by our school chef (this is normally served around 4:30pm)

• If children are collected after 5:30pm, you may incur a late pick up charge

• Children who have attended an after-school activity (e.g gymnastics, story book club) can book to attend NRG once the club has ended (4:30 – 5:30) – this is listed on the MyEd app as ‘NRG bolt on’

• Afterschool Club must be booked with at least a week’s notice, or your child may not be offered a place. We will print registers for the following week on a Friday morning; all booking must have been submitted by then.

Charges:

• Breakfast club: £4.50 per session

• Afterschool Club: £8 per session

• Nursery top up (3:00 – 3:25pm): £2 per session

• Activity club add on (4:30 – 5:30): £4 per session

• Late booking charge: £5

• Late pick up charge: £5
