The best way to learn your times tables is through repetition, but it doesn't have to be boring! Songs are a really good way of learning the facts. iTunes and Spotify have lots of times table songs.
If you prefer to learn things visually, maybe you could have them on cards or sticky notes around your house? Sometimes we look at a hundred square in class and colour in the numbers from the times table of the week. This can show patterns, which is another way to learn the facts.
I'd encourage you to learn the full sum, e.g. 3 x 6 = 18, because this will help you when it comes to the test.
For those of you lucky enough to have access to a computer or iPad etc. there are lots of different games and apps available too!
